Belt Strap
Handcrafted from the same quality belt leather that is used on our Macquarie and Hastings belts, these 1 1/2" or 38mm wide belt straps are suitable for use with changeable buckles also known as trophy or western style buckles. Simple to use, they allow the wearer to swap buckles if required by use of the snap closure.
Available in 4 colours, see below for how to measure and select the size to suit.
Black - Standard black
Dark Brown - A rich dark chocolatey brown
Mid Brown - Lovely medium brown in colour with slight reddish undertones
Tan - Rich, bright tan / chestnut tone
Note: We generally recommend one size smaller than your regular belt size for these belts depending on how much extra belt tongue you prefer past the buckle. This is to accomodate for the buckles which generally add 1 to 2" because of their length eg. if you are a 34" waist size, you could require a 32" belt instead of the usual same size. This is because the buckle will add the required 2" and allow the buckle to do up on the centre hole. If you prefer a longer strap length or have a smaller type buckle, a 34" would suit and could possibly require a few extra holes to be added for adjustment and fit. If unsure, please contact us and we can check for you. Please note that pants size is not the same as waist size. We can add up to 2 extra holes at no extra charge.

How the belts are measured
Belts are measured from where the leather folds over at the top to the centre hole on the belt. When purchasing a belt we recommend selecting one that does up on or near the centre hole - this allows for some adjustment up and down for the user. To select the correct size, measure your waist (firmly) or where you wear your belt then select the size closest to that measurement. eg.For a 38" waist, you would select a 38" belt.
